As an enterprise established on the foundation of Hanoi Tourism Company, the Corporation has gathered the abilities of many members along diversified business lines and has key functions in the international and domestic travel business, hotel business, investment, joint venture and joint cooperation in order to develop the infrastructure of tourism and service sectors, and ect.
Aiming at diversifying products, Hanoitourist Corporation is also doing business in the field of commerce, finance, agricultural and forestry product processing, housing and urban area construction and development.
Always paying attention to the core business, Hanoitourist Corporation since its establishment, has ceaselessly bolstered vocational training, tourism expertise training, hotel, office leasing, tour guiding and training in order to maintaining its stable development, as well as meeting society’s demands.
Main Duties and Business Lines
Cooperating with appropriate authorities to create projects and plans for tourism industry development following the development orientation of the City and the Government.
Creating, managing and arranging to implement projects investing in and building infrastructure for tourism development, funded by the government budget, loans and capital mobilized by the Corporation.
Organizing business activities in the international and domestic tourism industry, hotel and road/waterway/sea tourist transportation industry, tourism service and air ticket agency.
Cooperation in investment, joint venture and joint operations with business domestic entities and abroad in order to develop tourism infrastructure such as: tourism areas, entertainment centers, restaurants, hotels, trade and service centers.
Doing business in food and drink, tourism services, interpreting services, telecommunications service, rental properties and forms of transportation for rent.
Doing business in restaurants, souvenirs, offices for rent, advertisements, exhibitions and fairs, conferences and tourism – commerce promotions.
Doing business in labor export, consultancy for studying abroad.
Doing business in importing and exporting goods, agricultural and forestry products, fruits, fertilizers, garments and textiles, accessories, beverages, tobacco, food, silk, tea, coffee, handicrafts, pottery, consumer and manufacturing materials and equipment.
Providing organizations and individuals domestic and abroad with consultancy for trading and distributing goods, manufacturing and trading fine art products, artificial antiques, lacquer products and consumer goods.
Trading construction materials, paints of all kinds, plastics and plastic products, coal, equipment, consumer good.
Building, improving, repairing and upgrading tourism works, houses, public works, traffic and cultural works; executing, building and installing such works as foundations and constructing structures and completing equipment installation.
Making, managing and implementing investment projects on house construction and improvement, warehouses for lease, car parks and service garages.
Organizing vocational training, improving professional skills: tourism, hotel, tour guides, foreign language, room service, table service, bar service, reception, housewifery service, supporting manufacturing and trading activities of the Corporation with the final target to meet the rising demand of customers and the society./.
