Cherry blossom in bloom in Da Nang

(Hanoitourist) – People in the central coastal city of Da Nang will have a chance to contemplate cherry blossoms through the Hanami festival which will be held for the first time in Asia Park on April 9-10. 00asiapark1

The Hanami that is a long-standing Japanese tradition of welcoming spring and also known as the “cherry blossom festival,” will include many cutural activities presenting Japanese culture, such as Japanese culinary, Kimono fashion show, Kirigami (paper cutting art), Origami (paper folding art).

In addition, visitors will be able to wear yukata, cosplay costumes, play other traditional games and taste delicious dishes at the festival.

A lot of exciting art and cultural programs will also take place such as Akido and Kendo, Japanese tea art and calligraphic performance programs, musical show.

The organization board said the Hanami festival will become an annual event in Da Nang.
